My girlfriend & I decided to meet at Applebee's for lunch on July 14, 2014, because it was my birthday and we wanted to do something special. So, we decided to go to Applebee's. This was the first time I'd gone to Applebee's since they had opened an Applebee's in Jackson Tennessee, less than a year earlier.i ordered a Strawberry Avocado Salad. I was really disappointed with the quality and appearance of my salad. The salad lettuce was very wilted - it looked like it had been sitting out all day. Also, they skimped on the strawberries and other ingredients. The overall appearance of my salad was poor. It looked like it had haphazardly been thrown into a bowl with no regard for the appeal of it's appetizing appearance. I was a little surprised - i mean, Applebee's is a nationally well-known supposedly nice eating establishment. After finishing my meal I went into the ladies' room. I was so shocked - it was absolutely filthy!!! It reeked of urine and had no bathroom tissue in it! I will NEVER eat there again and it's highly unlikely I will ever eat at any Applebee's anywhere else!
